All have sinned – The Tale of Sin and Woe

In the days of old, when the world was young,
A tale of sorrow and sin was sung.
For Satan, sly with evil designs,
Sowed seeds of wrong in Eden’s vines.

Through Adam’s fall and Eve’s misdeed,
Sin took root like a rampant weed.
From that day forth, through time’s long scroll,
It’s plagued the heart and stained our souls.

Each generation bears the curse,
As sin’s dark shadow spreads its verse.
From child to man, from birth to grave,
It’s sin we’re bound, it’s sin we crave.

When taught the law and grace divine,
We see the truth, the warning sign:
“All have sinned,” the Scriptures say,
And fallen short, we’ve lost our way.

But though we’re lost in sin’s deep night,
There’s hope that shines, a beacon’s light.
For through the cross and Christ’s pure love,
We can find our peace with God above.
