Man in Paradise

In Eden’s verdant, sacred space,
Where first our parents knew God’s grace,
The sunshine of His love did shine,
In purest form, a touch divine.

Without a spot, without a stain,
They knew no sorrow and felt no pain.
Each wish fulfilled, each heart’s desire,
In Eden’s bliss, they’d never tire.

Landscapes lush and streams so clear,
Birds of Paradise singing near.
Pure air to breathe, trees rich with fruit,
Their hearts rejoiced, their souls absolute.

No plagues of life, no sorrow’s hold,
In Eden’s grounds, their joy untold.
God’s presence there, on top of glory’s crest,
A heaven on earth, truly blessed.

Unbounded joy, a perfect peace,
In God’s own garden, sweet release.
If ever thanks to God were due,
It was in Eden, pure and true.
