Men – you are invited to join us as we explore the “Christlike” response to the tragedies where men abuse our position in the home and society. We are often highly influenced by our Families, Culture, and Peer pressure when the Loving God should affect us. Please join us, as we explore ways that we may find help and/or how we can help others. The material is focused on the idea of “First man standing” where Christian men will be the first to stand against CBV. We also desire that Christ churches become the safest place for those experiencing GBV.

The church must transform into a sanctuary of safety. Far too often, it has failed to provide refuge for women enduring abuse; in some instances, it has exacerbated the situation by advising victims to return to their abusers. The church must not only strive for improvement but also actively contribute to resolving these issues and radiate light within the community. Men play a pivotal role not only within their own families but also in shaping acceptable behaviours in their surroundings. While asking, “What would Jesus do?” is a valid query, we should also inquire, “What would Jesus feel? Think? Believe?” Only then can we craft a more profound response embodying the spirit of What would Jesus Do.
