Table of Peace
At the table of peace, where Christ invites,
In the spirit of simplicity, our hearts ignite,
We gather as equals, no rank or pride,
In the fellowship of Jesus, side by side.
The bread is His body, broken for all,
In our humble homes, we heed the call,
Each piece we share, in communion true,
Reminds us of the Savior’s love anew.
The cup of His covenant, unites us as one,
Through the sacrifice of God’s own Son,
Each sip we take, in faith and grace,
Binds us together in this holy place.
In this moment of reflection, we embrace,
The teachings of Jesus, filled with grace,
We follow His path, in peace and love,
Guided by His Spirit, like a gentle dove.
In our simple gathering, no grandeur we seek,
But the strength of community, humble and meek,
At the table of peace, where Christ leads the way,
We find unity in service, every day.
So let us remember, as we break the bread,
The love of our Savior, and the words He said,
At the table of peace, where Christ invites,
We commit to His ways, in faith and light.
